Image Finally, it is announced that the transfer of the 3G spectrum from TIME dotCom Berhad (TdC) to DiGi.Com Berhad (DiGi) had been successful. An allotment of 27.5 million new shares to TdC was made as well in consideration for the transfer of the 3G spectrum with all its rights and benefits to DiGi.

Sprint invests $14.5bil in Clearwire to develop WiMAX Print E-mail

Sprint Nextel Corp, the third largest telecommunications company in the United States, is investing $14.5 billion in Clearwire Corp for the development of WiMAX technology in an attempt to gain a lead over archrivals AT&T and Verizon. If Sprint played its cards right, this just might be its gold pot under the rainbow. Clearwire aims to provide WiMAX service to as many as 140 million people by 2010.

According to a local daily website, Packet One Networks Sdn Bhd (P1), one of the four 2.3 Ghz WiMAX licensees, will begin its rollout in June this year.
