O2 Asia in new hands after management buyout Print E-mail

Image O2 has decided to give up its mobile devices business in Asia and a management buyout has been agreed. Telefónica O2 Europe, O2 Asia’s European parent, decided that its device business in Asia, which is based in Singapore, was a non core asset following a strategic review. The current management team in Asia has established a company that will be known as Mobile and Wireless Group (MWG) and based in Singapore.
