NEC computers Asia Pacific recently
launched two new models of its NEC VERSA range notebooks, the S5600 for
business professional and the S3500 for the mainstream consumers, both which
are equipped with the latest Intel Centrino 2 processor.
The S5600 is a12.1 inch wide screen notebook that comes in Enji
Designer Red while the S3500 is a 13.1 inch wide screen notebook that comes in
Cool Dark Silver. The S5600 comes with NEC's intelligent instant recovery feature for
critical crisis response and disaster preparedness as well as the option for Remote
live presentation via any instant messaging software (ie. MSN or Skype). The S3500 on the other hand comes with embedded Quick Access short cut keys to
switch on power savings settings,the web cam and also Wireless Lan / Bluetooth
connectivity.
The price of both the S5600 and S3500 start
from RM3,500 onwards and varies according to system specifications.
