MSI Notebook has recently unveiled a special charity model – the "MSI Wind Netbook Love Edition". The new release will support a range of notebook donation programmes around the world for children in remote areas. The donated notebooks will help those children learn invaluable computer skills, connecting to the world through the Internet, and narrowing the digital divide.

Lenovo recently announced that it is entering the sub notebook market with the IdeaPad S9 and S10 netbooks. The netbooks are to complement your primary PC or as a first-time, introductory PC purchase. It allows users to do simple tasks such as surf the Internet, check and write emails, listen to music and run basic applications.

In three months time, Malaysians will be able to buy the i-Dola laptop and Jean-i personal computer (PC) at RM1,000 and RM500 respectively. The devices are named after the Prime Minister and his wife.
