DiGi getting into 3G voice space, starting with Penang and Kota Kinabalu |

DiGi is poised to make its Turbo 3G on
mobile phones available in Penang and Kota Kinabalu, Sabah on Thursday, October
22, 2009. Both cities will be the first in Malaysia to enjoy DiGi’s newest 3G
voice and data services on mobile phones.
In Penang, the official launch of DiGi’s
Turbo 3G will be graced by Lim Guan Eng, Chief Minister of Penang.
DiGi’s Head of Products and Segment Marketing, Albern Murty, will be there to
host media in a press conference to share details on DiGi’s Turbo 3G plans and
latest offerings for Penangites.
Similarly in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, the
launch will be officiated by Datuk Dr. Yee Moh Chai, Minister of Resource
Development and Information Technology, Sabah.
It’s followed by a press conference with Chan Nam Kiong, DiGi’s Head of
Customer and Channels, Ng Chak Khin, DiGi’s Head of Region, Sabah
and Loh Keh Jiat, DiGi’s Head of Product Marketing.
