Nokia
recently announced the availability of the
much anticipated Nokia N96, its flagship “multimedia computer” in the iconic
Nseries range. They also announced the availability Nokia N85 a “multimedia
computer” that according to Nokia takes mobile convergence to the next level,
and the N79 that
combines intelligent and customisable design with a fully-loaded “multimedia
computer”.
With 16GB of internal storage and an optional microSD card – currently
available up to 8 GB - the total memory of the Nokia N96 can be increased to a
total of up to 24GB. To fill up all that space the N96 comes with a variety of multimedia
features including, a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED
Flash, GPS navigation, a video centre, Nokia’s Music Store for downloads and a
host of other features.
The Nokia N85 is pre-loaded with at least 10
made-for-mobile N-Gage gaming titles as well as dedicated gaming keys that
light up when the device is in landscape gaming mode. It also comes with a 5
megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and bright Dual LED Flash and when you
combined with the GPS function you’ll be able to Geotag your pictures and share
them. The N85 also comes with an 8GB microSD card, up to 30-hours of music
playback time. For further music enjoyment, it also comes with a 3.55mm audio
jack so you can connect your favourite earphones for some easy listening.
Then there is the Nokia N79. Perfect
for the style conscious, the Nokia N79 comes with Xpress-On smart covers that
are available in five cool colours: Light Sea Blue, Espresso Brown, Olive
Green, White and Coral Red. Each Nokia
N79 will come with a combination of three colour covers. It offers a full range of multimedia
experiences including integrated navigation, music with FM transmitter,
high-speed connectivity, superior web browsing, 10 pre-loaded N-Gage games and
an advanced 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics.
The Nokia N96 will be available in Malaysia in the
2nd week of September with a recommended retail price of RM 3,338
while the N85 and N79 are expected to hit our shores by the fourth quarter of
this year.
