Celcom launched a new postpaid plan Wednesday and extended its 1+3 plan to 1+5.
The new Celcom Executive Plan 250 is targeted to high end users and has a RM250 monthly commitment fee.
“The Celcom Executive 250 is ideal for customers who spend at least RM200 per month in their bill and those who want flexibility and a hassle free rate plan,” said Dato' Sri Shazalli.
The earlier Celcom Executive Plan has been renamed to Celcom Executive 50 with the launch of this new plan.
Celcom also extended its supplementary 1+3 plan to 1+5 plan where users can enjoy the same benefits of the earlier plan with up to 5 supplementary lines.
The 1+3 plan was launched on October last year. To date, it has over 250,000 customers, according to marketing vice-president Zalman Aefendy Zainal Abidin.
In addition to the new postpaid plans, Celcom offered a new reward program that allows customers to make free calls on Sundays. Celcom postpaid customers will be able to enjoy free minutes based on their usage on the previous month. For every RM1 spent on the postpaid account allows the customer to make a 30 seconds call for free on Sundays, during next month. For an example, a current bill at RM60 allows the customer to make a 30 minute free calls on the next month, only during Sundays.
The free minutes however apply up to a maximum 40 minutes, said Zalman.
In the meantime, Mobile World discovered a Celcom Executive 20 being offered on the Celcom website. No details were given by Celcom at the time of the launch.
