Xpax, the prepaid brand from Celcom will be presenting the Rainforest Music Festival 2008 (RWMF), from 11 to 13 July this year at the Sarawak Cultural Village.

Organised by Sarawak Tourism Board, RWMF is a festival that brings together renowned musicians from all corners of the world and indigenous musicians from the interiors of Borneo, all on one stage.

“In the past, Xpax has been associated with some of the best and most exciting musical events, such as XLive and My Chemical Romance's first concert in Malaysia. Now, we are going a step further by presenting RWMF, which is considered a must-see music festival, especially amongst the youth,” said Zalman Aefendy Abidin, Senior Vice President of Marketng, Celcom (M) Berhad.

Sheldom Blackman & The Love Circle performed during the launch on 4^th July 2008. They are one of the bands that is scheduled to perform at RWMF next week.

In conjunction with the sponsorship of RWMF, Xpax will be offering RWMF tickets free for every purchase of a RM50 reload coupon at participating Celcom branches, Blue Cube outlets and purple kiosk. The tickets are valued at RM90 each and it is available on first come, first serve basis. The promotion is valid from 15 June 2008 until 10 July 2008.
