SanDisk Corporation, one of the world’s leading memory manufacturers, has just launched a new range of high-performance memory cards at CommunicAsia Singapore. The SanDisk Ultra Mobile range include microSD, microSDHC and Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards and are offered at capacities of 2, 4 and 8 GB.

With faster side-loading speeds (up to 20MB per sec) than previous models, four times faster than SanDisk Mobile cards – users will be able to experience faster transfer rates between their memory card and computer. The card comes with a MobileMate Micro Reader that plugs directly into a USB 2.0 port for easy transferring. A USB reader is also bundled into the package, along with a 10-year warranty.

In neighbouring Singapore, the SanDisk Mobile Ultra cards are available at different prices, ranging from S$30 for a 2 GB microSD model, to S$45 for a 4 GB microSDHC, and S$95 for 8 GB. The Memory Stick Micro (M2) costs S$46 for the 2 GB model, while the 4 GB and 8 GB models cost S$69 and S$139 respectively. The cards should be available in Malaysia around mid to late July.
