Here is a glimpse into Sony Ericsson’s upcoming flagship phone that is aimed at business users.

The Sony Ericsson P1 is the fifth-generation among the P-series Sony Ericsson smartphones. At first impression, you will notice that the phone is slightly smaller then its predecessor, the Sony Ericsson P990.

Operating on Symbian OS v9.1 and the UIQ 3.0 platform, the P1 will be one of the most up to date Symbian phone currently in the market.
The UMTS, Triband GSM phone, spots a 262,144 color TFT touch screen has an on board WiFi chip that allows wireless surfing in hotspot area.

  • 3.2 megapixel camera(3.0 x digital smart zoom), VGA camera for video call
  • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel document support
  • RSS feed
  • Bluetooth 2.0,USB, Infrared

  • 128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM
  • Opera 8 web browser
  • MP3 Player and FM Radio
 
The Sony Ericsson P1 will be available in selected market by the end of the year.
