LG to put Google on phones Print E-mail

LG has announced a global collaboration to pre-install Google's services onmillions of LG mobile phones. LG says it will enable mobile of LG usersaround the world to easily search for information, find locations, updateblogs and manage email while on the move.

"Building on our efforts to set new standards for wireless handsets, we
are excited to partner with Google to offer extra value to consumers
with enhanced mobile Internet experiences," said Mr. Paul Bae, Vice
President of the Product Planning Team at LG Electronics Mobile
Communications Company."

The collaboration will take off in Q2 2007 when selected LG handsets willcome pre-installed with GoogleT products and services. The phones will besold globally.

LG says users will then have one click access to Google search through anicon in the application menu. Other features of LG-Google handsets willinclude:
    * Google MapsT for mobile, an application that enables users to view
       maps and satellite imagery, find local businesses, and get driving
       directions
    * GmailT for mobile, 
    * BloggerT Mobile, an application to upload/download images and text
       to blog from mobile devices (www.blogger.com).

LG promises to launch at least ten new handsets pre-installed with Googleand products and services in 2007.
