What is your job at Maxis?
I am responsible for the voice, mobile data and infotainment at Maxis.

That sounds like a lot of work. How many hours do you put in every day?
I work 8 to 8 almost every day so that would be 12 hours daily.

That would hardly leave time for anything else. Do you find time to do anything outside work?
Well I do spend time with my family at the weekends. I also find time occasionally to have teh tarik with my buddies especially when there is a football game on.

Which team do you support?
I am a Liverpool fan.

I can understand now why you made sure Maxis offers the Liverpool FC TV channel on mobile phones. What other channels does Maxis TV offer?
We have other soccer channels like Arsenal FC, FC Barcelona. There’s also European Professional Golf Association tour TV if you don’t like soccer. We actually introduced a total of 11 new channels which include music videos, fashion, lifestyle and news channels.

What’s your favourite 3G service – other than the Liverpool FC TV?
I like the traffic info service because I will know which roads to avoid. I also love making video calls to my family when travelling.

What phones are you using now?
I have a Sony Ericsson Z800 and a Blackberry 8700.

Any other gadgets?
Other than my notebook, I have an iPod and a digital camera.

How do you think 3G will do in 2007?
It will continue to grow in popularity. I think the end of 2007 and early 2008 will be a defining moment for 3G. Personally I am very excited about 3G.
