IDC forecast the number of mobile workers in Malaysia will grow from 976,500 in 2004 to two million in 2009. Over the same period, the number of mobile workers throughout the Asia-Pacific, excluding Japan would double from 32 million to 62 million. Mobile workers are those who spend over 20% of their time outside their office working with a notebook or PDA and a phone.
