Research In Motion (RIM) has a new CEO, Thorsten Heins, who was the COO before. Experts say that he now has only 12 to 18 months to turn the BlackBerry company around.
ÂThere were tales of a takeover of RIM - which did not materiliaze. But one thing for sure, the smartphone company will have to struggle amid its shares falling 8% recently.Â
Heins is thinking more towards fine tuning what's already running at RIM instead of exacting majjor changes.
ÂRIM's co-CEOs Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie recently resigned last week due to investor pressure. It seemed that they were in the way of RIM being sold. Heins however claims that this will not be in his plans either.
