Celcom has been hit with a RM1.6b suit by a company that claims it had a contract with it to market mobile telephony services.
Specifically MCATGen Sdn Bhd advertised prepaid cards at RM168 in full page ads in papers that stated airtime was provided by Celcom.

I’m off to Destination Nokia 2005 in Sydney from the 15 to the 18th of November.
You can bet that I am looking forward to seeing the latest stuff that Nokia will be bringing out soon.

Everyone dealer knows that you can hardly make money these days from selling prepaid top-up cards.
How then can this company offer such a lucrative multi level marketing scheme for prepaids?
Wirth gross margins way below 10%, there’s no way there’s enough money to offer decent profits at all levels.
Then there’s the small matter of the telcos [...]
