The launch of the Nokia Lumia 710 and 800 in Kuala Lumpur brought splashes of colour to the launch of the Lumia series at Pavilion KL today. Free umbrellas of a variety of colours were handed out at the event to highlight the funky back covers available for the Lumia 710. Thanks to this and a couple of mobile trucks, the area resembled a rainbow.
Of course, what is a launch without goodies thrown in, right? Well, Nokia gave the first 100 people to purchase the Nokia Lumia 800 at the exclusive launch today an exclusive bundle which includes a Nokia Purity HD Stereo Headset by Monster, a Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse and an exclusive Nokia premium, all worth up to RM1,000. Should have been there, eh?
It seems that the first person to queue turned up at 7 am in the morning, and we think all 100 units had been snapped up. But not to fear as Nokia has other great deals lined up for the Lumia Windows 7.5 phones. The Nokia Lumia 710 can be purchased for RM999 while the Lumia 800 is priced at RM1650.
