It looks like it is true, as Nokia CEO Stephen Elop confirmed recent rumours that they were dropping the higher end Nokia Windows Phone in the US. According to Elop, the Lumia 900 would be on sale in the coming months. No other specifics were given, other than the CEO saying that they would "market it aggressively".
Potemtial users can expect to see the high end Windows Phone in two colours, cyan and black. The phone comes with 4G-LTE connection, a 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.4 GHz processor.
With all these, there is no doubt that Nokia will be able to turn heads with its latest Windows Phone. However, the OS is still a distant player in the US market at only 5% market share. Let's not forget that the Lumia 900 will be competing from the likes of the iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The battle is definitely heating up.
