Introducing the Lumia 900, Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 in CES 2012, Nokia is also announcing that there are about 50,000 apps available in Windows Phone Marketplace for these smartphones.

They include exclusive apps like CNN, Univision, ESPN, and Sesame Workshop.

First and exclusive for Nokia, the CNN for Windows Phone app has the latest news on what's happening around the globe, with a panoramic interface. It can pin sections of the app to the home screen. The user can have direct access to iReport, CNN's participatory news community. It's a new feature for users to submit an iReport while simultaneously capturing the event. The CNN app will be launched next month and it's free.

Univision for Windows Phone caters to news and entertainment about sports, as well as cooking and local content.

The ESPN app enables sports fans to customize the app and to enjoy news, scores, videos, analysis and others that you navigate to with a swipe of a finger.

Sesame Workshop is adapted from Sesame Street book titles to help an adult teach her child to become a storyteller while the adult becomes the listener, the questioner, and the audience to the child. Sesame Workshop Senior Vice President, Scott Chambers claimed that with this app continued the 42-year tradition of encouraging families to read together.

Nokia Lumia 800 will be available in Microsoft Stores and any other online channels while the Lumia 710 will be available tomorrow for order on www.t-mobile.com.
